Here's a list of some things I've learnt about the power of loving yourself:

  1. Gratitude for what you have in the present moment, is a form of giving yourself love. Being grateful for the people in your life, the food, the warmth, the shelter and all the comforts that many others around the world who are less fortunate than you, don't have.
  2. As Gary Vee says; If you wake up and everyone you care about is healthy - it's a great day.
  3. Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom - Aristotle.
  4. Using the '5 second rule' and 'the high 5 habit' which was formulated by Mel Robbin's, will be a way of giving yourself a form of love. Acknowledging yourself as someone who should be celebrated is so important, we don't cheer ourselves on enough, yet we always cheer on and celebrate others. So why not ourselves? Start cheering yourself on and see what happens.

Counting down from 5, is a call to action type ritual that can do wonders in interupting the negative habit cycles and patterns of the subsconcious mind. These habits that you automatically engage in without consciously being aware of them, are constantly being ran in the background through many years of conditioning. As we interupt these loaded programs in there process, we can change the habits entirely, pressing the reset button and defaulting the trejectory towards a healthier and more positive outcome for our lives.

  1. Believe that you have limitless potential. Because you do!
  2. You don't get in life what you want, you only get in life what you are - Les Brown. If you want love, you must become love. You can only help and serve others, if you have nourished and cared for yourself first, in doing so you have something to give and to offer to the people of the world, however small that community may be.
  3. Immersing yourself in things you enjoy, like music, dance, skateboarding, snowboarding, writing, blogging, podcasting, whatever it may be, do it for yourself, it will make you feel good and this is a form of love you owe yourself.
  4. You should see yourself as the greatest of all time, within your paradiagm - Coach JV
  5. See yourself in this moment as you read this, and believe that you are already wealthy and abudant, you have everything you need to be successful, right here right now. We negatively manifest without realising, we say things such as "I can't do this, I can't afford that" here you're giving your subconcious mind confirmation that you don't think that you are worthy of wealth in health and in money. Positively manifesting into the world what you are becoming, will connect the dots for it to arrive in your life. Harness the power of the subconscious mind, and this will be one of the most profound and impactful things you ever do to give yourself love. And you will be happy that you did!
  6. Follow your intuition and your gut feeling, harness your instincts, feel the energy, give yourself love in this way.
